Must have rich experience drafting of contracts and agreements
Must have experience of Litigation and arbitration
Background of the Renewable sector is preferred
Responsibilities
Providing legal support to the various departments of the organization, in their day-to-day functions internal to the organization as well as in their interaction with external vendors.
Drafting of, as well as negotiation assistance for, documents related to business and project development, construction, and O&M activities of the organization, viz. supply contract, erection & commissioning contract, civil works contract, cooperation & coordination agreement, O&M contract, Balance of Plant contracts, etc.
Contract and claim management support.
Litigation/arbitration management.
Support in overseeing compliance within the organization, to ensure compliance with laws, regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
Competencies And Skills Required
Experience - 4 to 6 years of post-qualification experience in the renewable energy sector is a must. Prior work experience of working with a reputed law firm will be an added advantage.
Educational Qualification - LLB or LLM from a reputed law college, with a minimum of 65% in the qualifying examinations.
Legal Expertise - should possess in-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the wind energy sector.
Communication Skills - Effective communication, both written and verbal.
Team Collaboration - One should be able to collaborate effectively and provide legal support.
Problem-Solving - Finding practical and legally sound solutions to disputes and conflicts.
Attention to Detail - contracts and legal documents are error-free and legally sound.
Interpersonal Skills - Building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Conflict Resolution - Legal Counsel should have the ability to mediate and resolve conflicts, whether within the organization or during negotiations and disputes with external parties
