Job Role: Handling Consumer And Other Litigation
Job Responsibilities
To prepare draft replies, applications, evidences, affidavits, writ petitions related to consumer matter and other litigation.
To efficiently handle and regularly update the management on the status of various litigations pending at various fora/courts/tribunals.
To advise, appear and represent the Company in various litigation
Coordinate with lawyers and internal stakeholders/ functions for preparing replies/submissions and follow up with lawyers/consultants for managing end to end litigations filed for and against the Company
Advise business team on the day to day queries related to handling legal notices, litigation, other legal issues.
To conduct or coordinate research on legal issues & update stakeholders on the new judgements/ laws. Visit of Regional/Zonal office for coordinate with service team.
Competency
Professional ability to interpret laws and find solutions to complex legal issues and handle litigations
Ability to work well in a high pressure environment and within very tight timelines
Must be a highly motivated self-starter and able to function independently in a “hands-on” environment.
Should have excellent analytical, execution skills and practical experience of handling litigation before various forum. Also, should have very good drafting and vetting skills and posses explant skill of communication with internal and external stake holders.
