Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Support, to gather information and ensure comprehensive documentation coverage.

Tools and Processes: Evaluate and implement documentation tools and processes to streamline documentation development and improve efficiency.

User Experience: Advocate for user-centric documentation practices to enhance the usability and accessibility of technical documentation.

Version Control: Manage document version control and ensure documentation is updated in accordance with product releases and changes.

Compliance: Ensure documentation complies with regulatory requirements and industry standards as applicable.

Qualifications:

Experience: Proven experience (X years) in technical writing or documentation management roles, with demonstrated experience in team leadership.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in documentation tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, MadCap Flare, or similar. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) is preferred.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.

Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Team Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Leadership: Experience in leading and mentoring a team of technical writers, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
