Aquis Search is currently assisting our client, a leading law firm, in their search for an experienced litigation lawyer to lead their Dispute Resolution practice in Mumbai. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can seamlessly step into this crucial role and drive their practice forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the firm's litigation and disputes practice
- Focus primarily on real estate, corporate, and commercial litigation matters
- Manage arbitration for cross-border transactions
- Handle disputes arising from existing cross-border and international mandates
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the practice
- Mentor and manage a team of associates
- Contribute to the firm's business development efforts
Qualifications:
- 15-20 years of post-qualification experience in litigation and dispute resolution
- Strong background in real estate, corporate, and commercial litigation
- Extensive experience in managing cross-border arbitrations
- Established book of business
- Proven track record in business development and client relationship management
- Experience working with international teams
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
