Responsibilities:
International Legal Support:
Provide legal advice and support on international business transactions, ensuring compliance with local and international laws.
Research and analyze legal issues related to cross-border transactions and global business operations.
Draft and review international contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
Contract Management:
Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution and termination.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure contractual terms align with business objectives and legal requirements.
Develop and implement standardized contract templates to streamline the contract creation process.
Global Compliance:
Stay abreast of changes in international laws and regulations affecting the company's operations.
Conduct compliance assessments and audits to identify and address any legal risks.
Develop and implement global compliance policies and procedures.
Legal Research and Analysis:
Conduct legal research on relevant international legal issues and provide timely and insightful advice.
Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization and recommend necessary adjustments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, finance, and human resources, to address legal issues and provide guidance.
Collaborate with external legal counsel when required, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
Dispute Resolution:
Assist in resolving legal disputes through negotiation, mediation, or litigation as necessary.
Develop and implement strategies to minimize legal exposure and protect the organization's interests.
Training and Education:
Conduct training sessions for employees on legal compliance and best practices.
Keep the organization informed about changes in international laws that may impact day-to-day operations.
Qualifications:
Qualified Senior-lawyer with a minimum of 7 years of experience in international law and contract management.
Strong understanding of Indian and international legal frameworks.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with global compliance standards and best practices.
