About The Role
Millennium is looking for a lawyer to support its international legal teams in the US, Europe and other locations. This role will be based in Bangalore/Mumbai.
Role Responsibilities
To assist Millennium's international in-house teams with:
The review, drafting, negotiation and management of commercial contracts across a range of areas, including, but not limited to, technology and suppliers/vendors/service providers.
The reviews, drafting and negotiation of non-disclosure agreements.
The review and preparation of human resources-related letters, supplements, contracts and other documentation.
The review, drafting and negotiation of Markets-related documentation.
Adherence to Millennium's policies and procedures.
The development and record-keeping of know-how.
The identification, escalation, resolution/management of legal risks.
The preparation, maintenance and updates to play books and other internal documents.
Other ad-hoc matters and projects across businesses and jurisdictions.
Required Skills/experience
4+ years of experience gained at a top-tier law firm and/or in-house department.
Law degree from a leading law school in India or overseas with strong academic credentials.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; relentless attention to detail.
Strong contracts negotiation experience and skills - sound understanding of various technical and commercial aspects of contracts in different contexts.
Open to training and supervision as well as responsibilities.
Ability to identify risks, ask questions and solve problems.
Willingness to understand businesses and learn new and different areas.
Team player: ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Bar admission.
Prior experience in Markets and/or HR documentation would be a plus.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Professional attitude and strong personal ethics.
