Regulatory Counsel, Competition Regulatory Counsel, Competition with verification

Minimum qualifications:

JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.

Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located.

3 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with managing projects and partnering with cross-functional teams.

Experience with Indian litigation, including in various courts and the Indian Supreme Court on competition issues.

Experience working with technology companies, with the ability to understand technical issues.

Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, analytical, and investigative skills.

The Competition Legal team at Google is dedicated to advising Google on a wide variety of matters that pose anti-trust risk to products and businesses. The team specializes in giving legal advice about competition risks, and coming up with creative ways to mitigate and eliminate those risks.

Responsibilities

Manage various aspects of competition law cases in the region.

Work with various legal, product, engineering, and business team members to provide counseling on competition issues.

Partner with outside counsel to help resolve competition issues.

Assist in constructively building new and emerging competition regulation.
