Key Responsibilities:
1. Factory HR Requirements:
- Oversee all HR functions within the plant, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and development.
- Implement HR policies and procedures tailored to the factory environment.
- Ensure effective employee relations and address employee grievances promptly.
- Manage and resolve employee disputes and disciplinary issues in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Conduct investigations and implement corrective actions as necessary.
2. Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all statutory and legal requirements related to labor laws, industrial relations, and other applicable regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance standards and implement changes as necessary.
3. Managing Govt Offices:
- Liaise with government officials and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
- Handle inspections and audits conducted by government agencies.
4. Disciplinary Actions:
- Manage and resolve employee disputes and disciplinary issues in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Conduct investigations and implement corrective actions as necessary.
5. Litigation and Court Proceedings:
- Represent the company in labor disputes and legal matters.
- Prepare and manage documentation for court cases and work closely with legal advisors.
6. Dealing with Union:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with labor unions.
- Negotiate and manage collective bargaining agreements.
- Address union-related issues and ensure peaceful industrial relations.
7. Plant Administration:
- Oversee day-to-day administrative functions of the plant.
- Ensure efficient management of resources and facilities within the plant.
- Implement safety and health programs to ensure a safe working environment.
8. Transport Activities in Plant:
- Manage transportation logistics within the plant.
- Coordinate with transportation providers and ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods and personnel.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 12 to 16 years in a similar role within a manufacturing or plant environment.
- Strong understanding of labor laws, industrial relations, and factory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle complex employee relations and union negotiations.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Preferably a local candidate from Himachal Pradesh with knowledge of the regional language and culture.
