Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Community Development and Sensory Research Coordinator to join our team. This pivotal role calls for someone with a robust background in psychology, occupational therapy, or social work, coupled with exceptional research capabilities and a flair for engaging content creation. As our Manager, you will spearhead comprehensive research initiatives, craft educational content, foster community engagement, and collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders. ign Development: Strategize, develop, and execute awareness campaigns focused on neurodiverse accessibility and sensory experiences.Stake

holder Engagement: Collaborate with schools, workplaces, community organizations, and local authorities to advocate for and implement neurodiverse accessibility initiatives.Resou

rce Development: Create comprehensive resources and materials to support neurodiverse individuals and their families in managing sensory challenges effectively. Eval

uation and Improvement: Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and data analysis, and make necessary improvements. Inter

action with Caregivers: Engage with caregivers to understand their needs for home modifications and their knowledge of sensory environments.Conte

nt Creation and Social Media: Develop educational content, blogs, and articles to raise awareness and provide guidance on sensory management and neurodiverse accessibility. Collaborate with the social media team to create compelling scripts for short-form content like YouTube shorts or reels.Docum

entation and Reporting: - Document program activities and outcomes, and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Research and Ecosystem Analysis

Research and Collaboration: Collaborate with occupational therapists, special schools, and other stakeholders to conduct comprehensive research on current practices, technologies, facilities, and outcomes related to sensory integration therapy

nity Research: Conduct research with neurodiverse individuals, families, and communities to deeply understand their accessibility and sensory challenges, gathering insights to inform our initiatives.Evalu

ation and Assessment: Evaluate the availability, quality, and utilization of sensory rooms, equipment, and tools across various settings, identifying areas for enhancement and addressing gaps.Analy

sis and Intervention: Investigate commonly used sensory tools and educational aids, assessing their efficacy and identifying opportunities for intervention improvements.Feedb

ack and Improvement: Gather feedback from the community regarding the effectiveness of sensory tools and environments, analyze data collected, and use insights to continually enhance our services.Facil

ity Visits: Identify and visit exemplary facilities to gather insights, benchmark against industry standards, and identify potential areas for improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with social media, product development, design, and business development teams to provide valuable research insights.

Qualifications:

Education in the field of Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or a related field.

Proven experience in qualitative research, thematic analysis, and content creation.

Strong understanding of neurodiverse needs and sensory integration therapy.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Passionate about neurodiverse accessibility and inclusion.
