Strategic Planning:
Understand the firm's and the identified practice's strategic plan, ensuring that the firm's business development objectives align with overall goals.
ii. Assist in developing and executing annual business plans for identified practices.
iii. Proactively collaborate with management and teams to target and develop clients.
iv. Support the firm's client development and CRM activities through coordination of client planning, activity monitoring, and reporting, including metrics based on financials and time.
Business Development:
Manage proposal development for strategic opportunities, including timelines for large or strategic proposals and presentations. Refine value propositions and points of view in line with firm guidelines.
ii. Prepare, coordinate, and finalize pitches and capability statements for clients, working with lead partners or engagement teams, coordinating input from other contributors, and providing input into cross-practice pitches as required.
iii. Regularly update pitch collateral, ensuring standard pitch data is current and suitable for use by the firm/practices.
iv. Identify potential work opportunities/client onboarding through industry relationships, social media platforms such as LinkedIn, and industry databases like Merger Market and VCCircle.
Engage regularly with business associations and communities, attending key networking events and liaising regarding collaboration opportunities.
Requirements
Total Exp : 8 to 10 years
II. Minimum 4 to 5 years of relebant Experience in Business Development working for within the legal industry or banking sector .
III. Qualification: MBA Marketing, or a related field.
IV. Proven track record of successfully developing and executing business development strategies. Strong understanding of the legal industry, market dynamics.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
VI. Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to business challenges.
