Job Description:
As a Social Media Executive, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy in order to increase brand’s online presence and improve the marketing and sales efforts. You will be working closely with the Marketing and Creative teams to create engaging content, monitor social media channels, and analyze performance metrics. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of social media platforms and trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation and Management:
Develop, curate, and schedule engaging and creative content for various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube).
Write and edit compelling copy for social media posts, ensuring it aligns with the brand voice and guidelines.
Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing graphics, videos, and other multimedia content.
Social Media Strategy:
Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and growth.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and incorporate them into the strategy.
Community Management:
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across all social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
Foster a positive and engaging online community by interacting with followers and encouraging user-generated content.
Analytics and Reporting:
Track and analyze social media performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and other relevant platforms.
Prepare regular reports on social media activities, performance, and key metrics, and provide actionable insights for improvement.
Campaign Management:
Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns, contests, and promotions.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding across all channels.
Brand Advocacy:
Act as a brand advocate, promoting and representing the company’s values and mission across all social media platforms.
Identify and collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify brand reach and engagement.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role in a digital marketing agency.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and detail.
Proficiency in social media management (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with graphic design tools (e.g. Canva or professional softwares).
Knowledge of content marketing principles.
Experience with influencer marketing and partnerships.
Familiarity with social media advertising and budgeting.
