Overview

The International Customer Support role is crucial to our organization as it involves providing exceptional customer service to our global client base. This position plays a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and retention, as well as contributing to the overall positive reputation of the company in international markets.

Key Responsibilities

Provide timely and effective support to international customers via email, chat, and phone

Understand and resolve customer inquiries and issues in a professional and empathetic manner

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and escalate technical issues as required

Document customer interactions and consistently update internal databases

Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to knowledge base articles

Assist with language-specific support for non-English speaking customers

Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry best practices

Act as a customer advocate and provide feedback to internal teams to enhance the overall customer experience

Adhere to service level agreements and performance metrics

Contribute to special projects and initiatives related to international customer support

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, or a related field

2+ years of experience in international customer support or a similar role

Fluency in English and at least one other major language

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve customer issues

Strong technical aptitude to understand and support product functionalities

Empathetic and patient approach to customer interactions

Ability to work efficiently in a remote and dynamic work environment

Experience using CRM and help desk software

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Proven ability to adapt to different cultural norms and customer expectations

Understanding of international business practices and customer service trends

Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones

Certification in customer service or related field is a plus
