We are seeking a motivated and experienced Corporate Lawyer to join our dynamic team.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Corporate Lawyer, your primary responsibilities will be to provide expert legal advice and support across a wide range of corporate matters. Key responsibilities include:
Corporate Transactions: Assist clients with mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, including drafting and reviewing documents, conducting due diligence, and providing strategic advice.
Contract Drafting and Review: Prepare, review, and negotiate corporate contracts, including agreements, licenses, and commercial contracts, ensuring legal compliance and protecting client interests.
Corporate Governance and Compliance: Advise clients on corporate governance, including structuring, board meetings, and shareholder relations, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct legal research, analyze complex issues, and provide practical advice. Stay updated on changes in corporate laws and regulations to guide clients effectively.
General Advisory Services: Offer general legal advice on day-to-day corporate matters, such as employment law, intellectual property, and commercial disputes, helping clients make informed decisions while managing legal risks.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
5-7 years of post-qualification experience as a Corporate Lawyer, focusing on corporate law and related areas.
Proven expertise in handling corporate matters, including transactions, contract drafting, and compliance.
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the UAE or similar jurisdictions.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal; additional language skills are a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to offer commercially viable solutions.
Strong communication and negotiation skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple tasks effectively.
