We are looking for a Senior Associate in our Litigation Team
A. Educational Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Law from a 3 year or 5 year in-person program. Candidates with degrees obtained through correspondence or in distance education programmes will not be eligible.
B. Experience and other criteria:
1. 4-5 years post qualification litigation experience (PQE) in a top tier Intellectual Property firm.
2. A deep understanding of Intellectual Property Laws.
3. Extensive demonstrable experience in drafting plaints, applications, appeals in intellectual property laws.
3. Excellent writing and speaking skills, strong interpersonal skills; a team player.
4. Need to have regularly appeared before the Delhi High Court IPD over the last 2 years and have a good overall knowledge and familiarity with IPD practice and procedure.
5. Ability to independently create digital paperbooks, and e-file applications and pleadings.
6. Strong research skills and familiarity with applicable case laws.
C. Job Description:
1. Independently drafting legal notices, plaints, applications and appeals for filing before the Court.
2. Attending hearings before the Joint Registrar and the Courts.
3. Independently briefing senior counsel and Partners of the firm.
3. Providing practical and commercially savvy advice to clients and carrying out independent client communications.
D. Salary and other emoluments
Extremely competitive.
