The legal function of Atos Group (including #Eviden) is composed of more than 100 lawyers worldwide. This department is recognized for its dynamism in adopting new technologies and promoting creativity and innovation to provide strong support for all of Group activities.
As part of the legal function, the Intellectual property department works with all divisions to protect all Group innovation and support all operations involving intellectual property (M&A, partnerships, customer agreements)
The IP department is also at the forefront of all new technologies and helps other lawyers to address their challenges, for example, in the field of artificial intelligence.
The Intellectual Property department is currently organized around two functions represented by two sub-teams: Patents and Transactions.
Your Day-to-day Responsibilities
As a senior trademark counsel, you will report into the Transactions team and your primary mission will be:
Manage and support all Group trademark and domain name portfolios across the world including their prosecution, negotiation of coexistence agreements and brand enforcement (oppositions, litigations) in liaison with Marketing and Communications
Provide IP support (negotiation, agreement drafting) for all group corporate matters especially for M&A operations
Assist business lawyers with all IP matters in relation with customer agreements
Contribute to any other topics under the responsibility of the IP department, such as innovation and R&D support, technology transfer, licensing, other complex contracting or pre-litigation matters such as but not limited to artificial intelligence
Key Skills And Experience
The current role requires a qualified (senior) legal counsel (LLM) with several years of relevant experience with trademark and domain names portfolio prosecution and enforcement
Excellent academic qualifications
Experience in the IT or technology sector or comparable industry and/or law firm or inhouse legal function
International experience, matrix organization exposure
Ability to work independently and deliver and handle personal workload
Enthusiasm, motivation, flexibility, and proactivity in solving issues
Fluent English
Good team spirit
