More than 10 years post-qualification experience as a lawyer (either as an in-house counsel and/or in private practice) with strong technical legal expertise in banking and finance law and proven ability to exercise excellent judgement in the identification and management of legal risk
Understanding of the legal, regulatory, operational and commercial risks relevant to the supported businesses and region.
Ability to deliver timely legal advice in a way that helps the business achieve its commercial objectives whilst understanding legal risk
A well-developed risk radar and confidence to speak-up and escalate risks appropriately
Proven ability to build strong relationships with the business.
Ability to work at pace with care
Soft skills (communication skills, stakeholder management skills, prioritization and organizational skills), that in each case allows the holder of this role to deliver work ranging from low complexity with no supervision to the most complex with limited supervision.
What we need?
10+ Post Qualification Experience as a lawyer
Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India
Tertiary legal qualification
Admission as a lawyer in Bengaluru, India or other jurisdiction as appropriate for the role
Legal Fundamentals
