Job Summary: Lifology is seeking a seasoned professional to join our senior leadership team as the

Director of Government Business. This senior-level role is pivotal in driving the business development

and sales strategy targeting government across sectors in India. The Director will be responsible for

liaising with central, state, and local governments to identify needs, pitch products, and close sales,

primarily through a project advocacy model. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in

leading government business development and sales, with a robust understanding of the education,

skill development, and employment landscape in India.

Key Responsibilities:

 Strategic Leadership: Lead the government business vertical, developing and executing a

comprehensive strategy to drive sales and growth.

 Government Relations: Establish and maintain high-level relationships with key stakeholders

across central, state, and local governments.

 Needs Assessment: Identify and analyze the needs of government entities related to

education, skill development, and employment to tailor solutions effectively.

 Sales Execution: Develop and deliver persuasive product pitches and proposals to

government officials and decision-makers, ensuring successful sales closures.

 Project Advocacy: Advocate for Lifology’s projects within government circles, ensuring

alignment with government objectives and successful implementation.

 Collaboration: Work closely with the Co-Founder and the Growth Leadership Team to ensure

alignment of sales strategies with organizational goals.

 Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of government policies, initiatives, and trends in the

education and skill development sectors, and leverage this knowledge to inform strategy.

 Networking: Build and maintain a network of contacts within government and related sectors

to enhance Lifology’s influence and reach.

 Technology Solutions: Propose and sell innovative technology solutions tailored to the

unique needs of government clients.

Qualifications:

 Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of proven experience in senior-level business

development and sales roles targeting government sectors in India.

 Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the education, skill development, and

employment ecosystem in India, including relevant government policies and programs.

 Network: Extensive network of contacts within government and related sectors.

 Sales Acumen: Demonstrated success in proposing and selling technology solutions to

government entities.

 Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with

the ability to influence senior government officials and decision-makers.

 Strategic Thinker: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to

identify and capitalize on opportunities.

 Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related

field is required. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
