Job Description & Summary

A career in Risk Management, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to advance and foster integrity based decision making and conduct by PwC professionals throughout our organisation. You’ll focus on promoting and monitoring compliance with applicable external laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures to help manage PwC’s regulatory, litigation, and reputational risk.

Our Independence Compliance team provides guidance on all areas of PwC’s independence policy and the regulatory environment. As part of the team, you’ll provide updates on Independence and regulatory rules and will evaluate new client opportunities based on PwC’s compliance policies and procedures.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Review requests from network teams for Independence Assessment (IA)

Guide project team member regarding IA requests and next steps.

Review and as needed maintain a tracker for the IA requests and any follow up queries.

Ensure all requests have been responded to within the timelines or adequately communicated.

Review checks performed by team members on IA requests.

Perform checks through various systems and collate the results and ensure adequate documentation.

Appropriately and timely escalating issues identified to the Reporting Manager.

Respond to network firms on the IA requests.

Perform other specific assigned tasks in Independence and allied areas diligently.

Collaborate with the wider independence and risk teams across lines of services, where required.

Essential skills

Having basic working knowledge of Independence policies and practice.

Good project management and organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload of self and share workload of other members within the team.

Has an eye for details.

Enthusiasm and commitment towards work.

Deeply held values of integrity, ethics and confidentiality.

Excellent communication skills.

Knowledge of MS Office and Google documents/ sheets.

Education: Graduate or postgraduate

Experience: 5-7 Years

Mandatory skill sets- Stakeholder Management , Project Management

Preferred skill sets- Microsoft Office
