Position: Senior /Principal Associate - Litigation
Qualification: Law Graduate from a reputed University
Post Qualification experience: 5 -10 years
Location: Bengaluru (M G Road)
Practice Area: Litigation/Arbitration/Dispute Resolution
Reports to: Sr. Partner, Bengaluru
Team Size: 2-3 Associates
Job Requirements:
At least 4 years of work experience in Court in litigation and handling matters pertaining to commercial contracts, infrastructure, arbitration/legislative/land acquisition matters and research work.
The Candidate should be well conversant with legal issues in contractual matters and arbitration claims, has experience in vetting/drafting of legal opinion and related drafts/case notes with respect to contract agreements, infrastructure related disputes.
Well versed/familiar with the rights and obligations arising out of Contract models of NHAI such as Build-Operate-Transfer BOT (toll), BOT (Annuity), Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) and Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM).
Attend court hearings and make representations in courts - Lower courts/ District court /High Court.
The position offers direct experience in Client interaction, Court matters as well as case preparation. The ability to read, speak & write Kannada and experience of appearing in land acquisition matters would be an advantage.
