Verification, Supervision and to coordinate day to day activities of Legal Department
Monitoring and Supervision of all on-going cases.
Visit any court/ department as and when so required in any case.
Interaction and co-ordination with Advocates, Courts, Police Stations, Appellate authority, different association, and outer agencies etc.,
Recommendation for the allocation of court cases, filed against TPL to various advocates. Explore and suggest to the General Manager about the advocates in the cases to be filed by TPL.
To vet, approve and modify the draft reply prepared by an Advocate and to suggest improvement by the Legal Team. Finalise the draft with the Advocate in appropriate time.
Ensure and follow up on timely filing of cases/ reply/ Appeal to higher court by the advocate appointed.
Visit to Police Stations for FIR and other related works as and when required.
To provide opinions and advise to other department on various subjects, provisions, and laws.
To draft reply for other departments as and when required.
Drafting of various types of affidavits, indemnity bond, undertaking, MOU and agreement as and when required.
Apprise (and present) top management about important Legal cases filed on behalf of/ and against TPL Dist. including its impact on the company.
Ensure documentation for Legal cases, store and retrieve it appropriately.
Endeavor for improvement of the overall performance of Legal Department including reduction of pending cases and avoiding frivolous litigations.
