Head of Compliance Head of Compliance with verification

Responsibilities:

To ensure GC on compliances applicable for the business and to support Offline Business operations/expansion across India

To complete the process of obtaining permissions/Licenses /Registration in compliance of applicable laws for existing and new centers.

Preliminary due diligence of documents before signing of LOI /MOU for new centers

Cost evaluation for completion of licensing requirement for new center and renewal of licenses for existing centers.

To support business operations on Legal and compliance related inspections, notices, challans and regulatory visits through different Government departments.

To assess the emerging legal and licensing challenges in India and to take necessary measures through regular visit/meetings with various regulatory authorities, to ensure smooth business operations in compliance with applicable laws/rules/regulations.

Vetting of Legal agreements/contracts in view of Fire norms, municipal laws and building regulations applicable for the state/city - For smooth execution of agreements for business units.

To ensure Labour law compliances for the company and to support timely execution of labour laws related compliances/returns applicable for the company.

To ensure Fire compliances and Fire safety audit for the offline centers located across India.

To support business units on issue resolutions and business continuity. To provide support on customer complaint and providing support system for the cross functional teams like business operations, HR, marketing, Projects, O & M and administration etc.

To initiate Investigations, police complaints, FIR registrations and liaising with Government departments for smooth business operations and HR support.

Responsible for maintaining Licensing and Compliance Report, MIS Reports and Monthly/Quarterly presentations for the management.

To support all functions on litigation, complaint and court cases against the company.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in compliance, risk management.

Previous experience in a leadership role within a compliance department.

Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance practices.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lead and inspire a team.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
