Mandate 2 : Employees will have the freedom to work remotely all through the year. These employees, who form a large majority, will come together in their base location for a week, once every quarter.
Roles and Responsibilities
To oversee, manage and strategize high stake litigations before various forums including but not limited to litigation pending before Hon’ble Supreme Court, High Courts, NCDRC, Commercial Courts and labour courts.
To effectively manage, supervise and oversee Corporate Litigation and ensure the interest of the Company is well protected.
Well versed with drafting and reviewing of various pleadings which is filed/ submitted before the Courts including but not limited to counter affidavit, reply in response to Writ Petition, various applications drafted under the provisions of Commercial Courts Act etc.
To effectively strategize real estate litigation, pan – India.
To formulate effective recovery strategy against the defaulting vendors by initiating of appropriate legal action against the vendors.
To assist the internal Liaison and Trust and Safety teams by suggesting effective legal recourse in case of initiating criminal complaint.
To strategize effective legal recourse and support internal audit team by initiating appropriate legal action against the delinquent third parties.
To ensure cost effective local external counsels are empaneled with the Company.
To supervise and manage the other junior members of the Litigation Team.
Ideal Candidate Skills
We are looking for a candidate having mix exposure of working as an advocate and as in house counsel with around 9-10 years of litigation experience having an exposure of working in a fast-paced organization.
Should have experience of managing external counsels and effectively finding counsels in tier II and III cities.
Should have previous managerial experience of handling a 1 or 2 member in house team.
Should have previous experience of working in a cross matrix organization and constantly working across different functions and keeping variety of stakeholders updated.
