Anoud Technologies LLC is seeking an in-house legal counsel to be based in its office in Chennai, India (Work from Office). The position will be primarily responsible for the following: negotiating various agreements with external clients and vendors; providing legal and business counsel to internal clients to resolve issues; managing external counsel (as applicable); ensuring that all agreements are concluded by Anoud Tech’s agreed risk parameters and working on miscellaneous projects.
Qualifications:
5-10 years of legal work experience
Preferably 5+ years of legal work experience in transaction IT services
Law degree from a reputed higher education institution
Preferably a blend of law firm and in-house experience
Responsibilities:
Excellent drafting skills: demonstrated experience with commercial transactions, specifically the drafting and negotiation of, but not limited to, the following types of agreements:
Master services and technology-related agreements
Software licensing agreements
Reseller agreements
Partnership agreements
Teaming agreements
RFPs and RFIs
Settlement agreements
Statements of work(s)
Subcontractor agreements; and cloud-hosted services agreements. Background in outsourcing, information technology, data privacy, intellectual property, software licensing, marketing/advertising law, SaaS (preferred)
Background in outsourcing, information technology, data privacy, intellectual property, software licensing, export control compliance, SaaS, dispute/ conflict resolution, and litigation
Experience overseeing and closing multiple projects and transactions
Excellent problem-solving skills
