Role Overview:

As an Associate / Senior Associate, you will:

Work with some of the leading technology corporations and technology experts, assisting them in their innovation roadmap and MnA decisions

Work on some of the cutting-edge technologies and work together with technologists

Get an opportunity to identify problems and strive to resolve the same by independent thinking

Assist clients worldwide by delivering high quality competitive intelligence and strategic services

Job description:

Assist corporations and licensing experts in their licensing & analytics activities by preparing high-quality EoUs, litigation-grade claim charts, complaint forms, contention charts, etc.

Analyze and rank-order patent portfolios, run campaigns to identify potential markets/standards, prepare high-quality licensing reports (patent-product mapping, damage calculation & royalty earning models, etc.)

Occasionally perform product reverse engineering, chip testing, IEEE/ETSI standard scouting, product/data sheet analyses, etc.

Interact directly with technology experts on a day-to-day basis

Conduct comprehensive searches and analysis of technical and patent information using online databases

Prepare ready-to-use licensing decks

Desired Skillset:

Ability to quickly understand and grasp complex/cutting-edge technologies within hi-tech including evolving telecom standards (4G and beyond), MPEG, VLSI, etc.

Excellent written and verbal communication [an absolute must]

Desire to deliver the best work product within set timelines

End to end project delivery

Ability to think independently and in a team to understand problems & suggest solutions

Education/Professional Qualification and Work Experience:

Bachelors/ Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Science

IP Experience: 1-4 years
