We are looking for a legal counsel to aid in legal guidance, risk management, and compliance expertise. The ideal candidate will have a prior experience in legal relating to technology companies.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to aviation regulations, laws, and industry standards.
Liaison with legal firms: Liaison with legal firms that we are working with on the different aspects of our day to day work.
Corporate Governance: Advise on governance matters, including board operations and shareholder relations.
Contracts and Agreements: Negotiate, draft, and manage contracts and agreements with suppliers, partners, and customers.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks, providing proactive solutions.
Litigation Management: Oversee litigation and dispute resolution.
Intellectual Property: Protect company IP and manage related matters.
Compliance Programs: Develop and maintain compliance programs, including data privacy and security.
Soft Skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning and development.
Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities as needed.
Education/Experience Required
LLB or Integrated LLB qualified.
5 years working in legal in technology firms
