Aquis Search is assisting our client, a prestigious law firm, in their search for a skilled Principal Associate or Associate Partner to join their Disputes practice in Mumbai.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced legal professionals to work on complex litigation and arbitration matters for international clients.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly competent legal professional with a strong background in litigation and arbitration. The ideal candidate will have significant experience interfacing with international clients and handling complex disputes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle complex litigation and arbitration matters
- Interface directly with international clients
- Manage and mentor junior team members
- Contribute to the firm's dispute resolution strategy
- Represent clients in court proceedings and arbitration hearings
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of PQE
- Must be based in Mumbai
- Extensive experience interfacing with international clients
- Strong background in litigation and arbitration
- Experience working in litigation firms, particularly Bombay-based solicitor firms
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Ability to handle complex legal matters independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in White Collar Crimes is a plus
- Familiarity with international arbitration procedures and forums
