Handling of assigned litigation portfolio and maintain high litigation success ratio.
Protect the best interest of the company and maintaining the reputation in quasi-judicial forums like Ombudsman.
Timely reply of legal notices
Timely submission of replies before various consumer forums
Reviewing the litigations and legal notices and ensure the total litigation numbers are stable by taking timely actions.
Drafting of Board approved mandatory Policies and ensuring its compliance.
Preparation of various Regulatory Reports and other internal presentation and reports
Handling of various inter-departmental queries on legal matters
Preparing management dashboard and submissions to the Board and other committees on litigation portfolio.
Ensure legal due diligence and proper documentation with respect to branch offices.
Drafting of various legal agreements
Timely renewal of contracts and ensure that interest of the company is best protected.
Provide legal opinion to claims, underwriting department on repudiation and null and void cases.
Advisory services and information dissemination to internal stakeholders based on learnings from the litigation.
Handle employee disciplinary matters by reviewing various communications, show cause, termination letters etc
Maintaining the litigation MIS and timely update in litigation management tool
Support in regulatory compliance matters as and when required.
