Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lawyer to join our Estate & Succession

Planning Team. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional drafting

abilities, a strong understanding of succession laws, family law, wills, trust

laws, estate and succession planning, family constitution, business

governance, company compliance, and tax services. This role requires

meticulous attention to detail and the ability to ensure compliance with all

legal, regulatory, and trust matters. The candidate will be responsible for

conducting legal research, providing analysis to support the team, and

handling inquiries regarding latest jurisdictional developments from clients and

internal stakeholders.

Role & Responsibilities:

Drafting Skills:

Prepare and review legal documents, contracts, agreements, and other relevant materials with precision and clarity.

Ensure all drafted documents comply with legal standards and client requirements.

Legal Expertise:

Provide expert advice on succession laws, family law, wills, trust laws, estate and succession planning, family constitution, business governance, and company compliance.

Stay updated with the latest legal developments and ensure their integration into practice and the firm.

Compliance and Regulatory Matters:

Monitor and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements relevant to the company and its clients.

Advise on trust matters and oversee adherence to legal and regulatory guidelines.

Research and Analysis:

Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support the legal team and provide well-founded recommendations.

Assist in resolving complex legal issues and provide strategic advice.

Client Interaction:

Handle client inquiries regarding legal matters, providing timely and accurate responses.

Maintain effective communication with clients and internal teams regarding legal issues and developments.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) from an accredited institution; additional qualifications such as Company Secretary or Tax certification preferred.

Minimum 3-5 Years of relevant work experience

Comprehensive Knowledge: Possess thorough understanding of fiduciary laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, along with expertise in trust administration, estate planning, and asset protection.

Client Relationship Management: Excel in building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and providing strategic advice and solutions.

Strategic Vision: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance offerings, drive business growth, and adapt to evolving industry trends and client expectations.

Financial Acumen: Possess proficiency in financial analysis, investment strategies, and portfolio management relevant to fiduciary services.

Legal and Technical Skills: Strong legal drafting skills for preparing accurate legal documents and agreements, coupled with proficiency in fiduciary software and technology tools.

Ethical Standards and Integrity: Uphold high ethical standards and integrity in all fiduciary responsibilities, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while maintaining client trust and confidence.
