Roles and Responsibilities
Handling cases of Civil/ Industrial/ Commercial/ Criminal/ Environment/ Mining/ Labour / Property & Land Law matters
Work closely with the external counsels, Solicitors firms, state and central authorities to achieve optimal solutions and contribution to business
Ensure Compliance of statutory requirements under various Acts, especially Environmental laws, mining laws, industrial laws, labour Laws and Tax statutes
Rendering legal opinion/advice and independent handling of various matters related to Labour dispute, Property disputes and various other functions & Commercial disputes, recovery actions by engagement of Counsels & briefing them
Effective Litigation management and partnering with business goals
Develop second line of command at Unit level by identifying and grooming high potential and high-performance individuals
Organize training on all applicable Laws and Policies to increase regulatory awareness
Education Qualification | Work-Ex| Desired Attributes
Graduate in LLB
16 - 20 years of experience
Thorough knowledge of Indian Legal System
Exhaustive knowledge of Indian Power Sector and Regulations
Superior Leadership and managerial skills
Working knowledge of English and Singapore law
Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills
