What You Will Do

As a part of the Global Contracts Team at GEP, you will be provided with a unique opportunity to work in a corporate setting while supporting GEP legal department’s Global Contracts Team based in Mumbai, as well as the U.S. team located at the global headquarters in Clark, New Jersey. As part of the Global Contracts Team, you will support company stakeholders across multiple time zones where GEP operates. As a GEP contracts attorney, you will gain experience in contract management, reviewing, redlining and negotiating various company contracts important to the success of the organization.

You will be responsible for reviewing, redlining, and negotiating Confidentiality Agreements/NDAs, vendor services, master services agreements, technology/cloud/SaaS agreements and marketing contracts in a very fast paced sales driven environment in alignment with GEP’s contracting principles

You will support the submission of RFPs, RFIs and Supplier Due Diligence Questionnaires as needed

Prioritize competing requests from various departments in the company

Work Hours: 12 noon – 9pm IST

What You Should Bring

A degree in Bachelor of Law

Excellent English written and oral communication skills, and ability to articulate and negotiate positions clearly and concisely

Demonstrated experience reviewing, redlining, drafting and negotiating services contracts with vendors, prospects and other legal documents

Attention to detail and strong organizational and time management skills to meet business priorities and deadlines

Ability to demonstrate strict adherence to maintaining confidentiality of company and customer information

Ability to work in collaboration with other legal professionals and GEP stakeholders

Ability to work in a team setting with a positive, can-do attitude

Willingness to work under the direction of others

Eagerness and willingness to learn, ability to use your analytical skills
