We at Ambuja Neotia are hiring for Legal in Litigation will be responsible for overseeing and managing all litigation-related matters within the company. This role requires a deep understanding of real estate law and litigation processes, as well as the ability to provide strategic legal guidance and support in resolving disputes and managing legal risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Litigation Management:
Lead and manage all litigation matters, including drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
Coordinate with external counsel on litigation strategy, case management, and settlement negotiations.
Monitor and manage ongoing litigation cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Legal Strategy and Advice:
Provide legal advice and guidance on real estate transactions, property disputes, regulatory compliance, and other legal matters.
Develop and implement strategies to minimize legal risks and enhance the company’s legal position in litigation matters.
Documentation and Compliance:
Review and draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions and disputes.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers, finance, and compliance, to address legal issues and support business objectives.
Communicate effectively with senior management and provide updates on litigation status and legal risks.
Research and Analysis:
Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the real estate sector.
Analyze legal precedents and case law to support litigation strategies and decisions.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution. A Master’s degree or additional legal qualifications are a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on real estate law. Experience working in a real estate company or legal department is highly desirable.
