Key responsibilities:
Drafts, negotiates, and advises commercial agreements (international and domestic) as per the business requirements.
To understand from business and operating team and formalize their understanding with clients, vendors etc. such as RFPs, work orders, NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, DPAs etc.
Delivers adequate legal support (templates, advice, risk management, subject matter knowledge) to accelerate and underpin the expansion of company strategy.
Provides legal advice on various commercial matters to commercial teams in contractual negotiations to achieve the most advantageous and/or beneficial legal and commercial terms for the Company.
Ensure adequate support is given till the execution of well drafted contracts by protecting Company’s rights and mitigate risks that the Company might get exposed to in aforesaid dealings
Develops and delivers training and legal risk management initiatives to senior management to strategically manage legal risks (e.g. business training, legal updates, etc.)
Be the coordinating point between the Company and Corporate lawyers, for contracts where specialized advice is sought from external lawyers.
Have a repository and data base of all signed contracts that the Company has and ensure that contracts are signed by appropriate authorities in the Company.
To study, understand and provide insight on various Laws applicable to the Company such as GDPR, US Laws including CCPA applicable to Client Contracts, DPDPA, Laws pertaining to Employee Contracts etc.
Develops and delivers training and legal risk management initiatives to senior management in managing legal risks (e.g. business training, legal updates, etc.)
Helps to implement best-practices in compliance, contracts management, intellectual property, data protection, IT, Litigation and/or M&A
