Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Employment and Business Law Litigation Paralegal to join our team, with specialized knowledge in Texas law. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and managing litigation cases in the Texas region. This role demands a strong understanding of Texas employment and business law, with the capability to provide comprehensive litigation support remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents specifically related to employment and business law cases under Texas jurisdiction.
Conduct in-depth legal research on Texas laws to support case strategies and legal arguments.
Assist attorneys in Texas with trial preparation, hearings, and depositions.
Manage and organize case files, maintain client records, and track deadlines.
Communicate effectively with Texas-based clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Support attorneys in discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests in compliance with Texas laws.
Perform other litigation support duties as assigned by attorneys.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal with a focus on employment and business law litigation in Texas.
Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software with specific knowledge of Texas law.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, while maintaining strong coordination with U.S.-based teams.
