Job Description
Reporting to the MD you will be responsible for the following:
Manage and oversee all legal and regulatory matters within the company
Provide guidance and advice on all legal related matters
Develop and lead the company's legal strategy
Ensure the company's legal compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
Handle litigation and dispute resolution
Supervise and manage the legal department
Develop and implement company policies and regulations
Engage and coordinate with external law firms when necessary
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Vice President - Legal Head' should have:
At least 12 years of overall experience
Open to Pune as a location
Candidate should come with experience dealing complex contracts across any industry
Experience negotiating complex commercial contracts with multi-national companies
Strong commercial instincts and excellent business collaboration skills
Experience from working with the compliance areas of Export Control and Trade Sanctions, Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption, Fair Competition, and Data Privacy is a merit.
