About the Role :
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Legal Executive with a strong command of English, Hindi, and Tamil to join our legal team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in Civil, Criminal, and Corporate laws, along with excellent communication skills in all three languages, which are mandatory for this role.
Key Responsibilities :
Drafting and Vetting : Prepare, review, and analyze various legal documents, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Legal Advisory : Provide expert legal advice and opinions on Civil, Criminal, and Corporate matters.
Litigation Support : Represent the organization in legal proceedings, including civil and criminal cases, as required.
Contract Management : Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to protect the company’s interests.
Compliance : Ensure the company’s activities are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Communication : Effectively communicate legal concepts and advice in English, Hindi, and Tamil to diverse stakeholders.
Research : Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal developments to provide informed advice and anticipate potential legal issues.
Contractual Obligations : Review and analyze legal documents to determine contractual obligations and ensure such documents accurately capture the terms of a transaction while minimizing legal risk to the company.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
Strong command of English, Hindi, and Tamil (both written and verbal) is mandatory.
In-depth knowledge of Civil, Criminal, and Corporate laws.
Proven experience in drafting, vetting, and reviewing legal documents.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
Master’s degree in Law (LLM) or specialization in a relevant legal field.
Experience in litigation and corporate law within legal consultancy services.
