Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Consultant specializing in Indirect Taxation located in Mumbai. The Consultant will be responsible for managing indirect tax compliance and advisory services, ensuring adherence to tax regulations, conducting tax research, and assisting clients with tax planning strategies.
Profile:
3 to 4 years of working experience in GST preferably in a consultancy firm
Candidate looking for exposure in GST litigation and advisory area
Brief Job Description:
Handling GST registration processes such as ISD registration, amendments, and new registration
Handling GST compliances such as preparation or review of GSTR 1/GSTR 3B, ITC reconciliation with GSTR2B, and GSTR 9 & 9C
Drafting summary covering latest amendments and crucial judgments
Assistance in drafting of reply against notices issued in Form ASMT-10, DRC-01A, SCN under section 73 or 74, preparation of appeals, etc.
Assistance in departmental Audits, such as reviewing details/documents, drafting the letter for submission, etc.
Visiting the department for submission and explaining the same to the officer
Quality:
Ability to handle work independently
Good Analytical Skills
Well-versed with MS Office
Preference:
Candidate who has handled GST litigation work independently
