Wipro is looking for an attorney based in Bengaluru to support its U.S. legal team in the areas of regulatory compliance and ethics.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Research and provide guidance throughout the organization on U.S. regulatory requirements.

Work collaboratively with different internal teams to promote compliance initiatives.

Develop and improve compliance processes and guidelines.

Assist with responses to government or customer inquiries and reviews.

Promote ethical culture through communications, outreach, and investigations.

Identify topics and provide compliance training to various internal functions.

Manage budget and invoices for external counsel and other vendors.

Monitor and advise on new legal developments that may impact the organization.

Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

Law degree with a strong academic record.

At least five (5) years of experience in a legal or compliance department and/or at a top-tier law firm advising multinational, publicly traded companies, particularly in the technology industry.

At least five (5) years of experience with U.S. federal and state law. Knowledge of U.S. industry standards, best practices, SEC rules, and DOJ guidance on corporate compliance programs.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Ability to function as a self-motivated, diligent, effective strategic compliance leader providing a practical, business-oriented approach to problem solving in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with limited supervision.

Strong ethics and integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain confidentiality over sensitive matters.

Availability during partial U.S. business hours.

Preferred: Knowledge or experience in technology, data privacy, international trade, government procurement, cloud computing, cybersecurity laws, and regulations specific to the software and technology industry.
