Responsible for engaging with government bodies, regulatory agencies, and policymakers to advocate for policies that address challenges and support opportunities growth within the sector of AYUSH, Beauty & Wellness industry, Traditional & Alternate Medicines, Herbal products, Nutraceuticals Industry, Medical plants.
Responsibilities
Proposal writing and draft concept paper, Business Development & Marketing, policy work related to AYUSH, Beauty & Wellness industry, Traditional & Alternate Medicines, Herbal products, Nutraceuticals Industry, Medical plants etc.
Develop policy briefs and representations, work on stakeholder consultations and meetings for policy discussions, carry our surveys for policy inputs, provide policy feedback to relevant ministries, regulatory authorities, nodal agency i.e Ministry of Ayush & relevant departments, CSDSO, BIS, FSSAI, QCI and others in a structured manner, participate in government meetings.
Should be able to conceptualize, develop and execute sectoral events including budgeting, website content, Speakers, Speeches, social media, prog content, post event reports, etc
Should be able to build relationship with concerned stakeholders.
Increase membership from relevant sectors.
Revenue Generation through Sponsorships for conferences, events & Memberships etc.
Maintain and build database for reaching out to speakers and Sponsors for department and annual conferences.
Ensure Social media promotion of relevant activities on various platforms
Qualification Requirements and Core Competencies
Masters in ayurveda/ food/Nutrition/Pharmacy/Biotechnology plus MBA will be preferred.
Must have 6+ years of relevant experience.
Capable to lead, present and sell effectively.
Knowledge of quality, standardization, and compliances
Self-motivated, disciplined, dedicated, and punctual professional.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and the ability to communicate cross-culturally.
