JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Conduct legal research on various issues and provide findings
2. Assist in drafting legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
3. Attending courts appearing for cases and conducting hearings
4. Attend meetings with clients and participate in case strategy discussions.
5. Assist in preparation for depositions, hearings, and trials.
6. Maintain organized case files and documentation.
7. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal updates
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Lawyer located in Kochi. The Junior Lawyer will be responsible for handling legal matters, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, representing clients in court, and providing legal advice and guidance.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of legal principles, procedures, and practices
Experience in conducting legal research and analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Law degree
Admission to the bar and license to practice law
Experience in dispute resolution and mediation is a plus
Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
