Role Description
As an eDiscovery Senior Associate, you will play a key role in supporting and executing eDiscovery projects, ensuring the accurate collection, processing, review, and production of electronic data. You will work closely with project managers, attorneys, and clients to provide expert guidance and support throughout the eDiscovery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the end-to-end eDiscovery process, including data identification, collection, processing, review, and production.
Work closely with project managers to implement eDiscovery workflows and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Utilize eDiscovery software tools (e.g., Reveal, Relativity, Nuix) to manage data processing, review, and production tasks.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data throughout the eDiscovery process.
Collaborate with legal teams to understand case requirements and provide recommendations for effective eDiscovery strategies.
Assist in preparing and maintaining documentation related to eDiscovery projects, including project plans, status reports, and logs.
Provide training and support to junior team members and clients on eDiscovery tools and best practices.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in eDiscovery technology and practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Law, Information Technology, Computer Science).
2-4 years of experience in eDiscovery or a related field.
Proficiency with eDiscovery software tools (e.g., Reveal, Relativity, Nuix, or similar platforms).
Strong understanding of the eDiscovery lifecycle and related best practices.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with legal terminology and litigation processes is a plus.
