Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Intellectual Property Manager to join our dynamic team at our headquarters in Ahmedabad. This is a full-time position requiring 7 to 10 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and expertise in Intellectual Property Rights, Legal Research, and IP Portfolio Management, along with other essential skills. The role involves overseeing and managing various aspects of IP services to ensure the highest level of protection and satisfaction for our clients
Qualifications and Skills
Proficient in Intellectual Property Rights (Mandatory skill)
Strong skills in Legal Research (Mandatory skill)
Experience in IP Portfolio Management (Mandatory skill)
In-depth understanding of Patent Law, including filing and prosecution processes
Thorough knowledge of Trademark Law and its application in different jurisdictions
Expertise in Copyright Law, ensuring the protection of creative works
Competence in drafting and negotiating Licensing Agreements
Providing Litigation Support in IP-related disputes
Roles and Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the entire IP portfolio of clients, ensuring robust protection and compliance
Conduct comprehensive legal research to support various IP projects and cases
Draft, review, and negotiate various IP-related agreements, including licensing and assignment agreements
Provide strategic advice and opinions on IP issues to clients and internal teams
Manage IP litigation matters, coordinating with external legal counsel as necessary
Conduct international IP searches and manage registrations in different jurisdictions
Develop and implement IP protection strategies for clients' intellectual properties
Maintain proper documentation of all IP activities and ensure timely reporting to clients
