Responsibilities
Infosys Ltd. (NYSE INFY) a global IT Services company with more than 200,000 employees and 10+ billion dollars in annual revenue, is seeking a senior attorney to join the commercial transactions group of our Legal department, with responsibility for the Americas Sales region. If you have a strong background in commercial transactions and are ready to put your strengths to work in a fast-paced, in-house legal environment, then this may be the opportunity for you. This position will support the Infosys Sales teams in the U.S, Canada and Latin America. The position will report to a Senior member of the Americas Legal team and will be primarily responsible for the following:
negotiating various agreements with external clients and vendors; providing legal and business counsel to internal clients to resolve issues;
managing external counsel (as applicable); ensuring that all agreements are concluded in accordance with Infosys’ corporate risk parameters and policies and working or leading various department and organization projects as assigned.
This position may also have the responsibility of managing junior attorneys on the Americas Legal team. Infosys provides services to a broad range of customers including, but not limited to the following industries, financial services, healthcare, consumer products, energy and utilities, media and communications.
The candidate should have experience contracting with customers in these areas, a good working knowledge of the issues that frequently arise and familiarity with the laws and regulations that are associated with these industries.
