Overview
The Legal, CS & Compliance Head will be responsible for providing legal counsel, overseeing corporate secretarial functions, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations for our FMCG company. This role will require a strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Role & Responsibilities
Provide legal advice and counsel on a wide range of legal matters, including contract negotiation, corporate governance, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.
Review and draft legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and policies.
Manage legal disputes and litigation.
Provide legal training and guidance to employees.
Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and best practices.
Prepare and file necessary corporate documents with regulatory authorities.
Manage board meetings and shareholder meetings.
Maintain corporate records and registers.
Develop and implement compliance programs to ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations, including food safety, environmental, and labor laws.
Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps.
Respond to regulatory inquiries and investigations.
Provide compliance training and guidance to employees.
Educational Qualification
LLB + CS (Preferred)
