What is the Role?

The Candidate will own the planning and execution of the Learner Placements in Career Bootcamp programs at Simplilearn. There is a demand-supply gap in the job market in India. Millions of graduates/engineers who pass out of Tier 2/3/4 colleges every year are largely not employable.

With the Career services, Simplilearn is trying to bridge this gap by helping freshers and early-career, experienced professionals find jobs in the areas such as Full stack development, Data Science, Automation Testing, etc.

The person coming on-board should be driven by a larger purpose and someone who is willing to walk the extra mile to impact the lives of thousands of learners.

Key Focus Areas:

Ensure Learner placements by owning the end-to-end customer experience

Establish Strategic hiring partnerships with the Enterprises and Start-ups in the market and look for exclusivity with them

Should be great at Voice and E-Mail comms. Maintain a professional relationship with clients

Be the Voice of the learner and advocate with data to provide feedback on products, and content to improve learner readiness for placements

Own key enterprise metrics such as # hiring drives conducted, % of repeat hiring companies, etc and create a strong value proposition for them

Create a recruiter sourcing/placement engine to place hundreds of learners every month

Desired background: -

2+ years experience in Business Development, Enterprise sales/partnerships or similar roles

Demonstrated performance in a high-growth environment

Strategy consultant from consulting firms or equivalent who has worked on transformation/implementation projects. Account Management is a good add on

Strong data orientation as we only take decisions after looking at data from all angles

Good exposure to public relations, good at cross-functional management

Ability to communicate/present to senior management

Requirements:

1+ years experience in Business Development, Enterprise sales/partnerships or similar roles

Prior experience in Training and Education sector is desirable

High sales orientation and comfortable working in a target-based environment

Very good written and verbal communication skills. Great account management skills

Strong cross-functional and team-building skills with an ability to foster creativity, innovation, and integrity within and across multicultural teams

Technical Requirements:

Graduate / MBA with experience in managing B2B accounts in EdTech & SaaS domains

Intermediate MS Excel Skills
