Job Purpose
This position is responsible for handling litigation of the company. The role will be playing an important role in timely and accurate delivery of these verticals.

Position Title: Resource - Litigation
Reports to: Team Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Litigation:
To handle litigation in all domains and at all forums across India related to consumer, recovery, property, criminal, labor, IPR cases etc.
To draft and vet pleadings, appear before various courts and tribunals, liaison with external lawyers and senior counsels,
To maintain litigation calendars and updating the matters on litigation tool.
To ensure smooth and timely compliance of court orders.
Oversee the proceedings of all case hearings and resolve issues if any; initiate appropriate actions to be taken according to the court hearing in a timely manner
Attend the court hearing for cases that are critical; Draw linkages between inter-linked case suits going on simultaneously and monitor them accordingly
Conduct case law research/ legal research on the legal database/internet to find answers to the proposition in question in the cases pending in the courts
Review and vet the replies prepared to the case matters and ensure that the reply incorporates the research findings
