Job Description:
We are looking for an attorney with expertise in U.S. law to join our remote team. The role involves providing legal document review services, conducting legal research, and drafting memoranda and contracts for U.S.-based clients. You will be part of a global team, working closely with attorneys in the U.S. to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal support.
Key Responsibilities:
Document Review: Conduct in-depth reviews of legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with U.S. legal standards.
Legal Research: Perform comprehensive legal research on U.S. statutes, case law, and regulations.
Drafting and Summarizing: Draft, review, and summarize legal documents, including contracts and pleadings.
Client Collaboration: Work directly with U.S.-based attorneys to understand client needs and provide tailored legal support.
Compliance: Ensure all legal documents are compliant with U.S. laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
Education: Law degree (LLB or equivalent) with specialized knowledge of U.S. legal practices.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience working in U.S. law or with U.S.-based clients.
Skills: Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
Tools: Proficiency in U.S. legal research tools such as LexisNexis or Westlaw.
Remote Work: Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple deadlines.
