Job Functions
Review, revise, negotiate and draft a wide variety of contracts, including master services agreement, license agreements, product agreements, services agreements, contractor agreements, real estate related agreements, employment related agreements and memorandums of understanding.
Advise business/internal teams regarding various legal issues, including HR matters and legal/regulatory compliance.
Ensure that the company is compliant with applicable laws and regulations including filings and liaison with regulators as necessary.
Supervise contract database management.
Support in devising, improving and implementing internal processes to ensure smooth operations while mitigating legal risks.
Creating new templates/agreements depending on business needs.
Working on data privacy matters and monitoring changes to the regulatory environment and implementing necessary actions internally and updating company policy based on changes in laws.
Working with global business teams and coordinating with them as and when required.
Working with external lawyers as and when required.
Additional projects as needed.
Skills
Ability to independently negotiate and finalize agreements with third parties.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, clear and concise drafting style and excellent attention to detail.
Ability to think and decide quickly and to communicate legal issues and solutions clearly and concisely.
Qualifications and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in law from a reputed Law University.
1 to 3 years of experience, in a similar role.
Prior experience of working for a multinational Information Technology company is desirable.
