Roles & responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth patent and non-patent literature searches to determine patentability and analyse prior arts for novelty assessments
Have sound knowledge in drafting patent applications
Collaborate with inventors to comprehend their inventions and translate technical information into patent specifications
Perform freedom to operate, invalidity, infringement, and technology landscape analyses
Utilize various free and paid databases effectively for patent searching
Demonstrate a solid understanding of Electrochemistry and related disciplines to evaluate technical innovations accurately
Stay updated with advancements in science and technology to aid in the conceptual development of inventions
Ensure compliance with Indian Patent law and other relevant regulations while handling patent-related matters
Exhibit strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey analysis results and insights to internal teams.
What we look for:
B.Tech. / M.Tech. / M.Sc./ Ph.D. in Chemical engg. / Chemistry
2-6 years of experience in patent analysis, searching, drafting, managing, and patent related tasks.
Required skills:
Strong communication skills to coordinate with R&D members, inventors, & attorneys.
A good technical understanding with an analytical mind, to extract the essential features of the invention.
Strong analytical and searching skills.
Experience in the field of energy storage or batteries is a plus.
