Your Role And Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide strategic legal counsel and uphold the highest standards of integrity within ABB. Each day, you will ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards. You will also showcase your expertise by effectively managing legal risks and fostering a culture of integrity across the organization. The work model for the role is: Hybrid. This role is contributing to Our Electrification business. You will be mainly accountable for:
Providing strategic legal support in India in connection to Electrification Business and will be part of EL leadership team in India.
Supervising a legal counsel for EL India and formulating improvement or development of legal processes, due diligence and legal productivity, simplicity, and standardization, reflecting the country specific requirements.
Independently review, negotiate and provide guidance on contracts, projects or deals in line with ABB corporate guidelines and applicable local laws;
Managing and coordinating litigation and employment disputes in close collaboration with the relevant stakeholders
Support ABB Integrity program and support Integrity initiatives in close collaboration with the Corporate Counsel and Regional General Counsel.
Qualifications For The Role
Legal degree from accredited law school with a demonstrable superior academic record.
Minimum 12 years Legal experience or equivalent in an internationally recognized law firm or multinational company.
Experience in handling and interacting negotiation or discussion with authorities.
Strong command on corporate, employment and commercial law.
Experience in handling investigation and formulating compliance/integrity policy is a preferred, but not mandatory.
