Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Legal Advisor to join our team. The Legal Advisor will provide expert legal guidance to support our company's operations, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and help manage legal risks. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to navigate complex legal issues
Legal Consultation: Offer legal advice to management and employees on a wide range of issues, including contracts, compliance, intellectual property, and regulatory matters.
Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure they align with legal standards and the organization's interests.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the organization complies with relevant laws and regulations, and help navigate changes in legislation that may impact the business.
Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. This includes conducting legal risk assessments and advising on preventive measures.
Dispute Resolution: Manage and resolve legal disputes, including representing the organization in negotiations, settlements, and, if necessary, litigation.
Legal Research: Conduct research on various legal issues and case law to provide informed advice and support decision-making processes.
Document Management: Maintain and organize legal documents, records, and correspondence, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
Policy Development: Assist in developing and implementing internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and effective operations.
Training and Education: Provide training to employees on legal topics, including compliance, ethical practices, and changes in relevant laws.
External Liaison: Coordinate with external legal advisors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders as necessary to address legal matters.
Contract Dispute Resolution: Address and resolve issues related to contract performance, breaches, and disputes, and work towards amicable resolutions or legal action if required.
Strategic Advice: Contribute to the strategic planning of the organization by offering legal insights on business decisions, mergers, acquisitions, and other significant activities.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Law
Experience: 5 Years of experience as a Legal Advisor or in a similar legal role.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
